Today I helped Luis in the swine pig farm with different actives that needed to get done. When I got there, he put me right to work on cleaning the pig stalls with water, then feeding them sugar cane. The pigs get super loud when it comes to feeding them. They almost sound like dying animals in great pain before they get there food. Luis told me that food fills the pig’s heart with happiness and they don’t need anything more. Once all of the pigs are fed, the whole farm is silent because the pigs are too busy eating to make noise. Once and a while you will hear a snort or two of happiness or two pigs fighting over their eating spot, but other than that it gets quite. After work, I ate dinner at the cafeteria and then watched Fast and The Furious 4 again with Carla, Virginia, and Tanner. Then biked home and went to bed.
