Thursday 10th September

We worked in the stable for a while doing the normal chores, cleaning, feeding, and moving the animals around, then Mark told me to saddle up. He told me that he, William, and I were going to a piece of land that they needed to check out. I didn’t really know what they were doing because I didn’t quite understand what Mark said. We went for about a 30min to get to the destination, passing different fields of fruit trees and students working in them. When we finally got to the place, it felt like we were in the middle of no where. There were no buildings, no people, and it was a huge plain with tall grass. We went around looking at different areas, the men planned while I tried to listen in to catch words about what they were saying. We stayed there for about 20min and then went back to the stable. After work around 5pm, I went down to the soccer fields because I heard there was a pick-up game. When I got there, there were only four people there. Then two minutes later another man showed up. I introduced myself and found out that there were three students, and two teachers. We played a 3v3 game for about an hour or two which was really fun and good exercise. Then they told me about a soccer tournament that were teams made up from the students and faculty of the school, and told me I should join a team. My next mission in the next few days would be to talk to the athletic director and ask him how I could get on a team. After soccer, I took a shower, ate some din din with the family, and then watched the movie 3 10 to Yuma. The movie was a good new western movie and I would recommend it. Then I went to bed.
