Wed 9th septemeber

Wed was the first day of classes for the students after their two week holiday. There were about 15 of them who came to the stable in the morning. The teachers told them about the rules and not to bring food or smoke in the stable. Then most of the students were assigned to work in a field to plant grass that was for horses. John and I went to help them, because Mark said we didn’t have much to do in the stable. I met a 4th year girl Marlene, who was the head of the grass project and other projects for the horse. We measured out more land, and then put bamboo stakes in it to mark the different sections. The students worked hard on cultivating the dirt, then planting the grass. After about an hour, John and I went back to the stable. We took a quick break, and then a man named Toto, who is crazy, picked us up. He worked around the different farms and drives around a truck all day, blasting love songs on his radio and singing them!! We drove down the main road and then stopped next to a huge field of the horse grass. Toto and John cut the Pasto with machetes and then I picked it up and put it in the truck. After work I went and worked out at the gym @ EARTH. I met another gringo whose name was Daniel. We talked for a while and I found out he was from Missouri and was here for a semester. After working out I took a shower and went to bed.
