Today was a very interesting day for me. First Cilia and I transferred 2000 dirt bags into the beds and then planted about 1000 trees. After that Cilia gave me some fresh oranges from a tree near by and taught me how to peel the orange so you can squeeze out all of the juice and cut a hole in the top so the orange is like a cup. I had 3 big and sweet oranges and I was hooked. Then our conversation turned into graph ting and what it was. I asked her how it was done and she told me how. She also told me that she made one tree in her house grow 4 different kinds of fruit in the same citric family by graph ting. I couldn’t believe how cool it was and I asked her if I could learn how to do it? She told me the fruit forestal could teach me and then brought me over there to meet the people who worked there. I met a man named Omar and another by the name of Don Orlando. They were both very nice and told me once I am open after the Urban Farming to come for two weeks. After meeting the men, Cilia and I went through some of the fruit trees that the men had growing and she showed me trees that had been graph ted. It was amazing! After work I went to go work out, and then ate with my family for dinner. Then after dinner I went to bed.
