Today I helped Omar and Don Orlando with grafting. We worked on citrus trees and I got to graft 5 trees. It was hard for me because my the cut I make into the branch that you put into the tree isn't that good yet. But other than that I am learning very quickly on how to graft. After work, Jensi and Jennifer invited me to participate in a 6km walk. The told me it started at 530pm am it was 515pm when they were telling me. I had to bike home really fast to get some shoes, then I hurried back to get on the bus just as it was leaving. The bus took us to the security stand at the entrance of EARTH. Once we got off the bus, everyone started the walk back to the Bibliotheca. Right as we started walking, I turned on my ipod and we jammed to music through the speakers that I had put in my bag. After the race, I had Dinner at José's house, the president of EARTH. We had Rice and Beans for dinner, then apple and pecan pie for dessert. Once Dinner was over, Sara and I left because she had to do homework and I was going to see Juan. As we were walking home I almost stepped on a snake. I couldn't tell what kind it was but it scared the hell out of me and I was cautious the rest of the way home. Once I got home, I called Juan and then we went to the bar with another student from EARTH until 1230pm. Then I went to bed.
