Tuesday 10 November

Today we woke up around 7am and it was raining. Chepita fixed us homemade hot coco from her coco trees. The Coco was so good and it had an original taste that was very natural and didn’t taste anything like Nestle chocolate milk. Chepita owns a farm full of Coco trees and sells the Coco powder in a Banana paper box to tourist. After breakfast it was still raining pretty heavily so we decided to play dominos. I didn’t know how to play but learned very quickly. The game is great and is so much fun. Chepitas grandson came over and played with us two. After a while the rain went away and we then started back up on our work. We built the shelf garden, and then finished the tire and glass garden which was the easiest one. We filled the tire garden with sticks and twigs and some rocks at the bottom to let air come through, then leafs, then dirt, carbon, then rice and more dirt. The layers made the garden full of nutrients and other things to help the plant grow healthy and big. After work we had dinner and then chilled for a bit. When Fernando came home, we decided to play dominos with him. He was an expert and gave us a whole other look on how to play the game, there were strategies and other useful tips that helped me become better at the game. After playing about 15 games, we went home and went to bed.
