Today was my first day of Experiencia at the Perri Urbana. The students were very nice and hard workers so it was fun to work with them. We started out by planting all the lettuce and the different beds, then learned how to take care of them. Then, we worked on planting Tomatoes in the hanging bags and on the ground. Last I helped on a house being made out of mud. I helped with the mixture and helped make the mud good for packing onto the wall. You need dirt, sand, and hay for making the mixture strong. After mixing the ingredients together you need to jump on the mud to compact it and make it good for and strong for building the wall. So the trick is to take off your shoes and have a dance party on the mud!!! After work, I chilled at the house, went to dinner at the cafeteria, and then went to Yoga!
